Meet the Owner

Hello and welcome to the Salon 23, LLC! My name is Jasmine Harvey. I am a DMV native and a 15-year licensed stylist. I received classroom training at Suitland High School’s Technical and Vocational Program as well as hands on training through an apprenticeship at a local shop. In 2007, I successfully passed the Maryland State Board exam but that was only the beginning of my journey.

Over the last 15 years, I have worked in shops, owned a salon, and recently began teaching live tutorials sessions. I am very passionate about haircare and small Black business ownership.

My goal is to provide you an excellent experience and promote hair healthy hair growth. I look forward to servicing you and love that you have chosen Salon 23, LLC to be “your hair’s new home”.
